Camp Moomba 2024

As we gear up for another exciting camp season, we wanted to share important updates with our Camp Moomba community. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we've had to make the difficult decision to cancel this year's winter camp. We understand that this news may be disappointing and upsetting for many, and we share these thoughts and feelings. We also recognize that earlier communication about this decision would have been helpful and we sincerely apologize for any stress and inconvenience caused. While we explored various options to proceed with winter camp, we ultimately concluded that it cannot take place this year. 

In the coming weeks, we will be calling to speak directly to camp families, share this news, and hear your thoughts and feedback. Folks are welcome to ask any questions during this call or to send them via email to our team at [email protected]. Our staff are available remotely to provide emotional support as folks share this update with campers. We have also included a letter to campers below to share this news with them. 

We also want to reassure folks that the spirit of Camp remains strong! Camp Moomba offers time and community where every camper can feel valued, understood, and empowered. We are committed to resuming winter camp in the future, and our team is actively working towards making this happen.

Despite the setback with winter camp, summer camp will proceed as scheduled. We're busy preparing to welcome campers for another unforgettable summer season of memories, friendships, and of course, wishing stars. 

Our team is deeply grateful for your ongoing trust, support, and understanding. Thank you for being an integral part of our camp community. We can't wait to see you this summer.

Hey, hey, Campers! 

We've got some important info to share with you about winter and summer camp. This year, we're really sad to share that we won't be able to have our winter camp. We know this might make you feel sad, angry, or confused and it makes sense that you might feel that way. We're going to miss seeing you this winter too!

Even though we can't have winter camp this year, winter camp will happen again in the future! Our team is already working on it. And guess what? Summer camp is still on! We're super excited to have tons of fun together.
